Article 1. | General
1.1 The General Terms and Conditions of The Candle Club apply to all offers, products, orders, agreements and deliveries of The Candle Club. When you order an item, you agree to these terms. Please read these carefully before placing an order. If you have any questions about these terms and conditions, please contact The Candle Club at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Article 2. | Agreement and Order
2.1 The agreement is binding when you place an order. The Candle Club processes the order after payment has been received. Until then, The Candle Club is the sole owner of the products.
2.2 Once your order has been processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that payment has been accepted and an e-mail with the confirmation and details of your order. For an invoice incl. VAT, you can always send an email to email@example.com, we will send it to you.
2.3 Pictures and specifications are indicative. All products are handmade and may vary slightly. If a product does not meet your expectations, you can return it (see article 6), but it cannot be a reason to make a claim.
Article 3. | Payment and Payment Methods
3.1 At The Candle Club you can choose from four secure payment methods: Ideal, Bancontact, PayPal and Credit Card; MasterCard & VISA.
3.2 If The Candle Club has accidentally stated an incorrect price on the website - and it is clearly a mistake - we have the right to adjust it. Even if you have already ordered that item.
3.3 All product prices on The-candle-club.com include VAT, but exclude shipping costs.
3.4 Credit card details such as credit card number, expiration date, etc. are automatically transferred through an encrypted and secure system to the paymaster without the-candle-club.com or others having access to this data. Even in the event of a refund, full credit card details will not be visible. If you pay with Visa or Mastercard there is extra protection through special verification methods (Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure Code).
Article 4. | Delivery
4.1 The Candle Club delivers orders via the PostNL courier service.
4.2 If you accidentally entered a wrong delivery address, chose the wrong delivery option or were not at home when PostNL delivered the package – and therefore additional costs apply – The Candle Club will charge you these additional costs.
4.3 The Candle Club will send the order as soon as possible after payment of the agreement. The Candle Club always strives to receive your order within the expected delivery time. If for some reason this is not possible (an item is temporarily out of stock or the courier service is discontinued), we will let you know immediately.
4.4 The Candle Club is responsible for the order up to and including the time of delivery. After delivery, the responsibility is transferred to you.
4.5 Please note that the delivery times referred to in Article 5 are the expected delivery times. In the event that a product is not delivered within the expected period, it is not possible to make a claim. However, The Candle Club will always make every effort to ensure that your order arrives on time.
Article 5. | trial period
5.1 The Candle Club strives to make all customers happy with their purchase. Nevertheless, we recommend that you check the quality and number of products within fourteen working days. If something is not right, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then send you a return label.
Article 6. | Returns & Exchanges
6.1 We hope that you are happy with your purchase. If not, you have fourteen days from the date you received your order to return the product.
6.2 The return form must always be enclosed in the box.
6.3 You can return the package together with the return form to:

6.4 The costs and responsibility of the return shipment are for your account.
6.5 If goods are used, worn, damaged or incomplete, we have the right to refuse the returned items.
6.6 Refunds will be made within 14 working days after receipt and inspection.
6.7 The Candle Club can only transfer the refund to the account with which the original payment was made.
Article 7. | Guarantee
7.1 After the trial period of fourteen days (Article 5.1), The Candle Club provides a two-month warranty on the quality of the product. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the product, please email email@example.com. Then we will send you a return label.
7.2 The Candle Club will propose a suitable alternative to you, but The Candle Club will decide which of the following options to choose.
7.3 In the event of a refund, refund (including shipping costs) will be made within 14 working days of receipt and verification.
7.4 If we repair or replace the item, this can take up to 14 working days if communicated otherwise.
7.5 The warranty is void if the product has defects caused by improper use, or if you or others have made or attempted changes to the product, or if it has been used in a way for which the item is not intended.
Article 8. | Copyright
8.1 All photos and graphics used by The Candle Club are copyrighted. Photos and images may not be reproduced or used in public without written permission from The Candle Club.
Article 9. | Disputes
9.1 All legal relationships are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
